FIELD DAY!

On Tuesday, July 3rd, we had FIELD DAY at La Roca!  It was a day full of laughter and fun!

We started the day by gathering in the church for a devotion and prayer.

After our time together in the church, it was time for the FUN to begin!  We headed out to the nearby soccer field - and started our games!

After a few hours of fun - we took a break to treat the kiddos to donuts!  They were so excited!

 After some of the games were over, we decided it was time for a water balloon fight.  There was only one rule - you could only throw the balloons at Daniel :)

By the time our day was over, we were all exhausted!  The kids kept asking, "Can we do this again tomorrow?"  It was a hit - and a day that we will always remember!

Meals at La Roca

Over the last two weeks, we have been able to serve daily meals to the kiddos at La Roca.  We have been so blessed to be a part of preparing and serving these meals - as well as seeing their faces light up each day that we offer them food!  The Lord is doing great things - and we are so thankful that He has allowed us to be a part of His work!

YFC Concert

On June 30th, YFC Honduras hosted a concert with Manu in Tegucigalpa.  The YFC crew from San Pedro Sula came to worship and fellowship with us!  It was a day full of worship, great praise, and laughs as we glorified the Lord together.

Update on La Roca

**This post is written from the perspective of Daniel & Laura - as they serve at La Roca for part of their summer internship in Honduras.**

For the last three weeks, we have been spending our days helping at La Roca.  We have grown to love the kids there - they have blessed our hearts beyond words.

Here are some pictures from what the Lord has been accomplishing in us and through us!

On June 24th, La Roca celebrated it's 9th anniversary!  Here are some pictures of that special morning.

We were able to finish the kitchen a few weeks ago!  Daniel worked hard on sanding/painting the kitchen with the help of a few others (including some of the kids!)  We were so thankful that the Lord provided the means for the kitchen to be completed in June!

We have had a wonderful few weeks at La Roca with the kids.  We have fallen in love with their sweet spirits and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for the remainder of our time with them!
